Robin E. Walker

Favorite Book: The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold

Robin advises companies across the country on commercial real estate matters including commercial real estate purchases and sales, commercial leasing, financing and federal and historic tax credit transactions.

While her practice ranges from assisting new businesses in leasing their first location to aiding established companies with multi-million dollar purchases, Robin focuses especially on representing real estate investment companies in all aspects of buying, selling, financing, leasing, and offering properties as investments to the public.  Known for her problem-solving skills, clients trust Robin to either offer a solution to address their needs or find someone who can.

Robin’s real estate law practice is built on her desire to achieve the most efficient and desirable outcome for her clients in any given situation. This means that she does not waste time negotiating items that are non-starters for her clients, nor does she shy away from walking away from a negotiation when her clients understand both the practicality and risks involved in doing so. She particularly enjoys finding solutions where both parties leave happy.

Her experience also includes the negotiation of vendor contracts including software licensing and service, staff augmentation, brokerage, employee benefits, and construction agreements.

When not helping lenders, owners or tenants with real estate transactions, Robin enjoys dancing, trying new Richmond restaurants, and attending live theater.
