Favorite Book: The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris

Jon is a resourceful commercial litigator who excels in handling high-stakes business disputes for sophisticated clients. With experience across diverse industries including real estate and title insurance, manufacturing, and media, Jon anticipates his clients’ needs and provides creative strategies to solve their specific legal challenges.

Jon’s commercial litigation practice focuses on advising clients on a variety of business disputes, from breach of contract, intellectual property infringement, and employment matters to business ownership and governance disputes. Jon's experience extends to construction litigation, where he assists clients with claims related to construction defects, contract disputes, and mechanic's liens.

A natural problem-solver, Jon has developed a reputation for helping businesses find resolutions to challenging situations, often in ways that aren’t the most obvious. He frequently serves as local Virginia counsel for national and international business clients, and he has successfully handled all stages of litigation including jury and non-jury trials and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Jon’s prior experience includes working as a partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, where he spent over a decade in their New York and Washington, D.C. offices.

Before attending law school, Jon served in combat with the U.S. Army’s elite 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He was deployed four times to Iraq and Afghanistan. His awards include the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Ranger Tab.
