In addition, Chris works with clients to ensure compliance with international, federal and state data privacy laws and regulations that impact Educational Technology and other businesses including CCPA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, DPDPA, FDBR, MODPA and TDPSA . He keeps abreast of this rapidly evolving field, proactively advising clients on potential risks and opportunities.

Having prior experience managing a business with hundreds of employees and as in-house counsel, Chris provides strategic guidance on day-to-day operations, risk management, and long-term planning. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time in the mountains with family and friends, the agony of watching his favorite Washington based sports franchises, the dopamine boost from playing guitar, and the zen of riding his motorcycle on Virginia’s many scenic highways and byways.
