Ana is dedicated to advising and defending companies, local governments, and school boards across eastern Virginia on intricate business and employment matters.

As an associate in Sands Anderson’s litigation practice group and member of the labor and employment team, a substantial portion of Ana's practice involves guiding employers through complex workplace legal issues. She counsels employers and vigorously defends them on a range of matters, including employment discrimination, disability accommodation, wage and hour disputes, employee leave, restrictive covenants, whistleblower complaints, wrongful discharge claims, employee misclassification, and more. She also assists healthcare providers with regulatory and administrative law issues.

Ana is valued for her passionate advocacy on behalf of clients and their businesses. Her approach is grounded in practicality and results, offering executable advice on employment law issues while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Ana enjoys recreational activities, including pickleball, golf, and camping. She also makes time each day to play with her two dogs, Benny and Winston.
