RICHMOND, Va. (July 18, 2024) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Jon Hollis has joined the firm as Counsel in the Richmond office. Hollis is a commercial litigator who excels in handling high-stakes business disputes for sophisticated clients.
Hollis advises clients on a variety of business disputes, from breach of contract, intellectual property infringement, and employment matters to business ownership and governance disputes. His experience extends to construction litigation, where he assists clients with claims related to construction defects, contract disputes, and mechanic’s liens.
In addition, Hollis frequently serves as local Virginia counsel for national and international business clients, and he has successfully handled all stages of litigation including jury and non-jury trials and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Sands Anderson is growing steadily across all practices. Hollis is the second attorney to join the firm’s litigation group this month, following R. Webb Moore, an experienced construction litigator, who will lead the firm’s construction law team.
