Sands Anderson Promotes Two Lawyers to Counsel
RICHMOND, Va. (January 11, 2021) – David J. Gundlach and Christopher F. Quirk have been promoted to the position of Counsel at Sands Anderson PC, according to firm president Margaret F. Hardy. Both Gundlach and Quirk have been associates and are based in Sands Anderson’s Richmond, Virginia, office.
David Gundlach is a member of the firm’s Business group and helps clients with federal and state tax planning needs. His corporate tax experience and pass-through talents help corporations, trusts, nonprofits, LLCs, real estate investment trusts, and partnerships solve complex tax and corporate law issues. David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. He also attained an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
Christopher Quirk is a skilled litigator who understands the complexities of both federal and state litigation at all stages. He is experienced in medical malpractice and Section 1983 lawsuits, regularly defending correctional healthcare providers, jails, constitutional officers, and medical providers throughout Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. He has been recognized in Virginia Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in 2020.
