Sands Anderson’s Government Group Continues Growth with Addition of Martin R. Crim
MANASSAS, Va. (June 7, 2023) – Sands Anderson PC is pleased to announce that Martin R. Crim joined the firm on June 1. Martin, a long-time attorney for cities, towns, and other local government entities in Virginia, will be located in Manassas, in the heart of Prince William County.
With more than 30 years of experience, Crim has extensive knowledge of state and town codes, case law, and local government practice. His experience counseling local governments ranges from issues such as land use development, code enforcement, and eminent domain, to administrative matters including the Freedom of Information Act and Virginia Public Procurement Act. He also has a deep understanding of water and sewer, electric utilities, social services, and municipal franchises. In addition, he provides counsel regarding tax valuation and collection.

Crim was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Local Government Association of Virginia. He has also been repeatedly named to Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the government, legislative, and administrative law categories.
He joins Sands Anderson’s Government Group, which added two associates last month, Tolley Gwinn and Andrew Selman. The firm represents more localities in Virginia and performs a wider variety of legal services for local government clients than any other law firm in the state.
