Sands Anderson Welcomes Bankruptcy Attorney Johnie R. Muncy

RICHMOND, Va. (March 20, 2025) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Johnie Muncy has joined the Firm’s Richmond office as Counsel. Muncy is a dedicated advocate for creditors, helping lending institutions, investors, and businesses protect their interests in complex financial matters.

In Muncy’s practice, which focuses on creditors' rights, he offers strategic counsel in bankruptcy cases, collections, foreclosures, title clearance, evictions, and litigation involving distressed assets. He is experienced in guiding clients through each step and ensuring they have the information needed to effectively address each account.

Muncy also helps clients maximize recoveries when collateral becomes tied up in bankruptcy or litigation. He has deep experience enforcing lenders and other creditors’ rights in bankruptcy court, negotiating settlements, and pursuing other legal remedies to secure repayment. His clients appreciate his practical approach and commitment to securing the most favorable outcome.
