Sands Anderson Promotes Three Lawyers to Counsel
RICHMOND, Va. (January 10, 2024) – William P. “Scott” Daisley, III, Klementina V. Pavlova, and Andrew P. Selman have been promoted to the position of Counsel at Sands Anderson PC, according to firm president Margaret F. Hardy. All three have been associates at the firm.
William P. "Scott" Daisley, III joined Sands Anderson in 2021 as a member of the Business Group and on the firm’s Healthcare Team. He counsels long-term care providers, hospitals and hospital systems, physicians and physician groups, and other healthcare organizations on the regulatory and administrative law issues that impact their businesses. Daisley, who is based in Sands Anderson’s Williamsburg office, received his undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary and law degree from the William & Mary Law School.
Klementina V. Pavlova practices in the areas of litigation, finance, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. Her experience includes representing Chapter 7 trustees, creditors, including commercial banks, shopping center landlords, financial institutions, and trade creditors. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge and her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. She also clerked for the Honorable Paul M. Black in the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Western District of Virginia. Pavlova was recognized in Virginia Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights category in 2023.
Andrew P. Selman came to Sands Anderson in 2023. He is a local government and school board lawyer who helps public entities understand and comply with their constitutional, statutory, and regulatory obligations. As a member of the firm’s Government practice, Selman guides local government clients across a variety of areas. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his law degree from the University of Virginia. Following law school, Selman clerked for Judge Julie E. Carnes in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
