Sands Anderson PC Announces New Leadership for Two Practice Teams
RICHMOND, Va. (April 15, 2021) – Sands Anderson PC today announced it has appointed new chairs to two of the firm’s practice teams. Brian G. Muse and Stefan M. Calos will lead the firm’s labor & employment and commercial real estate teams, respectively.
Muse, who follows C. Michael DeCamps as chair of the labor & employment team, joined the firm in 2016 after working in labor and employment and litigation at two national firms. In his diverse counselling and litigation practice, he represents employers of all sizes and high-level employees. He is experienced in a range of complex employment areas including discrimination, wage and hour, employment agreements and restrictive covenants, labor and employment counseling and labor relations and collective bargaining. He is based in the firm’s Williamsburg office.
Calos has practiced real estate law for more than 30 years. He represents developers, lenders, landlords, governments, and economic development authorities in commercial real estate and business matters. His deep experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, option agreements, and development agreements, and he advises clients on commercial leases, easements, and other instruments. Calos is based in Richmond and assumes the role from C. Thomas Ebel.
