Sands Anderson PC Adds Pamela O’Berry to its Government Group

RICHMOND, Va. (February 25, 2022) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Pamela O’Berry has joined the firm as Counsel in its Richmond office. O’Berry will be part of the firm’s Government Group that provides a wide variety of legal services for counties, cities, towns, school boards, and other public entities across Virginia.

“Pam brings a unique skillset to our firm, having worked in varying roles throughout her career,” said firm president Margaret Hardy. “We’re excited to welcome her into our Government Group and offer clients the benefit of her knowledge as they navigate multifaceted legal and organizational challenges.”

O’Berry advises chief executives at all levels of state and local government. With nearly 30 years of experience as a district court judge, administrative law judge, general counsel, and trial attorney in both government and corporate settings, Pam has a unique understanding of how governmental entities work. She uses her depth of experience in governmental organization, decision-making, and litigation to help her clients resolve problems proactively, transparently and in the best interest of the citizens they serve.

Most of O’Berry’s career has been in public service and includes 12 years as a judge in Virginia, eight years as a prosecutor, and three years as Commissioner and Chair of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
