Sands Anderson Elects New Shareholders

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (January 2, 2020) – Three attorneys have been elected shareholders of Sands Anderson PC, according to firm president Margaret F. Hardy. These new shareholders include Faith A. Alejandro, Matthew D. Green, and Brian G. Muse.

"Faith, Matt and Brian have demonstrated exceptional skills in their individual law practice and in client service. They each possess the positive attributes we require of shareholders of the firm," said Hardy.

Alejandro is a member of our Business, Litigation, and Government Groups, representing companies, nonprofits, and local governments with a focus on supporting their labor and employment needs, both as a counselor and a litigator. She received her undergraduate degree in American Politics and English from the University of Virginia and her law degree from University of Richmond School of Law. Alejandro has been recognized in Virginia Business magazine's "Legal Elite" since 2015, including named as a Rising Star in 2015-2017, and among Virginia Lawyers Weekly "Up and Coming Lawyers" in 2017. She is currently a member of Leadership Metro Richmond's Class of 2020 and leads our Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Alejandro is based in the firm's Richmond, Virginia office.

Green is a member of our Litigation Group and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, professional liability, products liability, and insurance defense. In addition to his extensive jury trial experience, he has successfully represented clients in various forms of alternative dispute resolution. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from University of Chicago Law School. Green is rated ‘AV Preeminent’ in Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings, and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America since 2012. He is the current President of the Virginia Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Green is based in the firm's Richmond, Virginia office.

Muse is a member of our Litigation and Business Groups and focuses his practice on labor and employment law and litigation. His strengths lie in both litigation and counseling, and he supports an array of client needs including discrimination, harassment, disability, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Muse received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from The College of William & Mary. He has been recognized as Virginia Business magazine's "Legal Elite" since 2012, by Virginia Super Lawyers since 2012, and Best Lawyers in America since 2019. Muse resides in the firm's Williamsburg, Virginia office.
