Bobby N. Turnage, Jr. joins the firm as Cybersecurity & Technology Team Leader

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA  (January 3, 2019) --- Bobby N. Turnage, Jr. has joined Sands Anderson PC bringing with him an extensive background in high-tech industries, announced firm president Margaret F. Hardy. Turnage will lead Sands Anderson's Cybersecurity and Technology Team, and will work out of Sands Anderson’s Richmond and McLean offices.

"We welcome Bobby to the firm and are pleased he has chosen Sands Anderson as his professional home," said Hardy.  "Bobby is an exceptional addition to our Business Group. He has a substantial practice in Cybersecurity and Technology, and we are pleased to add him to our team and expand the services we offer as a firm."

Turnage primarily represents and advises clients concerning technology and data-related matters, including cybersecurity, data security and privacy, technology contracts, intellectual property, and general legal counseling.

Turnage was most recently partner at Venable LLP.  Prior to Venable he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary for Network Solutions LLC, a leading web-presence services company. Before Network Solutions, his legal experience includes serving as Associate General Counsel for Verisign, Inc., a high-tech internet services company, and working as a prosecutor and defense attorney in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps.
