Attorney Jessica J. Berdichevsky Joins Sands Anderson’s Growing Government Group
RICHMOND, Va. (August 17, 2023) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Jessica J. Berdichevsky has joined the Firm as Counsel in its Richmond office. Berdichevsky provides general counsel to cities, counties, school boards and other local government entities throughout Virginia.
Berdichevsky will be a member of Sands Anderson’s Government Group, which represents more localities in Virginia and performs a wider variety of legal services for governmental clients than any other law firm in the state. The group has focused on representing counties, cities, towns, and other Virginia public entities, including regional and local authorities, and school boards for more than 25 years. The Group has steadily grown, most recently with the additions of LaToya H. Croxton, M. Tolley Gwinn, and Andrew P. Selman earlier this year.

Jessica collaborates closely with local government clients to quickly address the legal issues that emerge as a routine part of governing. She has significant litigation experience including handling myriad cases in front of judges and juries, as well as achieving the desired results through mediation. Her previous roles include serving as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia and as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for City of Norfolk.
