Brian also assists clients with their business needs, such as employment issues associated with commercial transactions. In addition, Brian has experience representing clients in labor matters, including unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB and Union grievances. 

Whether you’re facing lawsuits alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act or navigating federal and state law employment issues, Brian works with outcome-oriented efficiency. He takes the time to understand his client’s objectives and explores creative solutions. He assesses the complex relationship between your legal needs and business goals.

Viewed as a partnership, Brian pays attention to the culture your business promotes. He purposefully reflects each business’s unique history and specific future goals when representing his clients. He also provides onsite training and seminars related to anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies to help your business stay on track and come out ahead.

After spending six-years supporting a global law firm in northern Virginia, Brian returned home to Williamsburg. He joined Sands Anderson in 2016 and serves clients in the Hampton Roads and Richmond markets. Brian Serves as head of the Firm's Labor and Employment Team.
