W. Ashley Burgess Named Counsel For Firm's Business Practice

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA--W. Ashley Burgess has been made Counsel in the Business Finance and Real Estate practice group at the law firm of Sands Anderson PC, group chair Brian R. Pitney announced today.

"Ashley has been a stellar associate with our firm since 2004 and has developed significant expertise in counseling businesses on financial and credit matters, as well as defending their interests in court," said Pitney. Burgess graduated from the George Mason University School of Law, where he was Research Editor of the George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal . He is a 1999 graduate of James Madison University, where he earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in Public Administration with a Business minor. He focuses his law practice on representing companies and their executives with issues in contracts, creditors' rights, financing and real estate. He is an adjunct member of the Business and Professional Litigation practice group, as well.
